Project Background

Jiangxi Provincial Cancer Hospital (江西省肿瘤医院) is a Grade III Class A oncology specialist hospital and the primary cancer treatment centre for Jiangxi Province. As the scale of oncology treatment demand grew, the hospital required a comprehensive furniture upgrade covering its chemotherapy infusion units, oncology wards, nursing stations, and outpatient clinics. ZHOBAI Medical Furniture was selected as the specialist oncology furniture partner.

Oncology environments impose specific requirements on medical furniture: chemotherapy infusion chairs must provide extended patient comfort during multi-hour treatment sessions; ward furniture must accommodate patients with reduced mobility and immune vulnerability; and all surfaces must withstand aggressive chemical disinfection protocols. ZHOBAI’s oncology furniture programme addressed each of these requirements, delivering a clinical furniture package specifically configured for oncology care workflows.

Scope of Supply

ZHOBAI delivered a fully coordinated furniture package manufactured in-house to GB/T medical-grade standards, with CE and ISO 13485 documentation at handover:

• Chemotherapy Infusion Chairs: High-capacity infusion chairs with full-recline functionality, padded armrests, and retractable footrest — designed for extended 4–6 hour treatment sessions with integrated IV pole mounting.
• Oncology Ward Furniture: Hospital beds with electric height adjustment and full-perimeter bedrail options, co-ordinated bedside cabinets, over-bed tables, and IV stands — all with smooth, wipe-clean surfaces rated for aggressive disinfectant protocols.
• Nursing Stations: Custom-built counter systems with integrated medication storage, dual-zone clean/contaminated workflow separation, and anti-collision rounded edges across all oncology nursing floors.
• Treatment & Sterile Rooms: Floor-to-ceiling medical cabinet systems with double-door sterile storage elevated 200 mm above floor, preparation counters, and dressing trolleys.
• Outpatient & Consultation: Consultation workstations, examination tables, and waiting-area seating across all specialist oncology outpatient clinics.
